We are 5 years old today!

BikePark Wales is 5 years old today! We are so grateful to have made it this far and have so many people we want to thank. We have 5 big thank you's to say today, one for each year.

First up is you our customers! Without our amazing group of passionate visitors we wouldn't be here, thank you to each and every one of you, you've allowed BikePark Wales to grow to the amazing venue it is today. Watch this space as we have plenty more to come... Don't forget we are offering all customers a free pedal pass today so come on up and ride. 

Our second thank you today is to the BikePark Wales team. These guys are out there both behind the scenes and on the front line every day keeping the trails and facilities running sweet. Thanks guys, you are the best! 

Next up on the list of thank you's is our sponsors, these brands have backed the park, many since before it was even open and supported trail advocacy allowing us to continually improve the trails and add more exciting lines.

When BikePark Wales was originally created it was a huge collaborative effort between many bodies, private and public, it was a complex project that needed huge dedication to succeed.

A few key parties made this possible. Merthyr Tydfil CBC, Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru / Natural Resources Wales, Cognation and Visit Wales were fundamental in this process, there are too many to name but some true visionaries in those organisations saw the BPW opportunity for what it really was, an opportunity to create a world class mountain bike park in South Wales.

The final thank you from our 5 year celebration goes to our suppliers, we have a HUGE number of them, from web developers to bus mechanics, food suppliers to plumbers, there is a giant network of fantastic suppliers that keep us running each day. Cheers Guys!
