BikePark Wales is a young, successful business which is growing fast. The current offering includes over 40 world class mountain bike trails, a vehicular uplift service, café, bike shop, bike hire, coaching and events but an ambitious development plan is now underway to both improve the existing services and add new products to the existing site.
The Role
As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional coffee experience for our customers. With at least 1 years of experience, you have honed your skills in advanced coffee preparation techniques and are well-versed in providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise your expertise in brewing, grinding, and extracting espresso to consistently deliver high-quality coffee beverages.
- Stay updated on the latest coffee trends and techniques, contributing to the development of new and innovative drink offerings.
- Provide a warm and welcoming environment for customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Demonstrate a deep knowledge of our coffee offerings, guiding customers in their selection and answering any questions they may have.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all beverages meet our established criteria for taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Properly operate and maintain all coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and blenders. Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment functions correctly.
- Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels for coffee beans, supplies, and other related items.
- Collaborate with the management team to place orders and track deliveries to prevent stockouts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, machines, and seating areas. Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
- Encourage and enforce cleanliness standards among the team to maintain a hygienic and inviting coffee shop environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment. Assist colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a supportive team culture.
