It's important to get the best out of your suspension to keep your pride and joy running smoothly and to eek every bit of performance out of your bike. Regular maintenance is necessary to keep your Fox suspension in good working order. Our mechanics live and breathe bikes and know what it takes to do that little bit extra to achieve perfection. Our suspension mechanics are Cytech level 3 trained and have also received special in house training at Mojo enabling them to carry out fork and shock services on Fox forks to the highest possible standard.
Below is an outline of the work carried out on our standard services, for more information please ask at the shop or call 07730 382501
Fox Fork Servicing
During Fox fork lower leg maintenance the fork is function tested while installed on the bike. Then the fork is removed from the bike, the air released from the chamber and any old suspension fluids removed from the lower leg assembly of the fork. Once drained of old fluids, the lower legs are removed, the wiper seals and foam rings extracted and the assembly thoroughly cleaned and degreased, after which the bushes are checked for wear and/or damage. The Crown Steerer Unit will then be thoroughly cleaned and stanchions checked for wear and/or damage. The inside of the air chamber will be checked and cleaned if required, with fresh lubrication fluid used on re-assembly (if the fork requires it). To assess the forks functionality, the damper unit can also be removed, if needed.
On re-assembly, only original Fox Racing Shox seals and lubrication oils are used and once complete, the fork will be function tested and re-installed on the bike.

Fox Rear Air Shocks
During Fox air sleeve maintenance, the shock is checked for wear and/or damage as well as function tested while installed on the bike. Once checked, it will be removed from the bike and all air released from the system. The air sleeve is then disassembled and all O-rings, seals and back up rings removed. The shock will then be thoroughly cleaned and degreased, after which a check of the air sleeve for wear and/or damage is carried out. Once complete, the air sleeve is then re-assembled using genuine Fox Racing Shox seal kits and lubricants. Once pressure tested, the shock is re-installed on the bike and all bolts re-set to the manufacturers Torque settings.
