"We came back again this year to BPW and it was just as awesome as the first time, and even better and improved. The shop and cafe is always well stocked, The trails had some upgrades, and it just always leaves us wanting more! As always the staff at BPW are super friendly, patient, fun and thoroughly ensure safety of the bikes on the uplifts and the visitors everywhere. An especially big shout out to the knowledgeable guys in the shop, they once again saved the day- last time providing a specific bolt and repair for a suspension arm, this time providing help and batteries for a dropper seat post mech, keep up the great work guys and gals at BPW THANKYOU, we will return!"

"Absolutely loved our time at Bike Park Wales yesterday. We only did green and blue runs but they were so much fun. Everything about the place is really well setup too, the food was fantastic, the people were nice and we had a great time all round. Also, Olly who was our guide was an absolute legend, such a nice bloke and massively added to our day. Thanks again "

"I was very impressed with all of the facilities you have, the easy sign on process, excellent COVID precautions, plentiful number of minibuses on the uplift etc. etc. the list just goes on. However, above all else I was super impressed with your staff, every single person I interacted with during my day was just superb. Without exception they were friendly, happy and super helpful, even when I was faffing around being overprotective of my new bike on the uplift trailer"

As riding back down to the trail centre where the fence slows you down I hit the smallest of well my mate called it a pebble rock in the path it flipped me over the handle bars and ended up 3ft away from my bike lol thanks for a brilliant day as always"

Was a bit worried about the boys lifting the bikes onto the uplift trailer but all that was not a problem for the "OVER" helpful and cheerful drivers:). Couldn't help enough and made the afternoon ride a lot more enjoyable. Also, big thank you to the young lads who done the hand over for the hire bikes, very helpful and happy. To who ever reads this please could u say thanx to those people from the 7 young lads and the Dad :):):)"

Rod Green, Cannock, 16 Jun 2017

"Really good fun and trails ae in great condition as always, uplift great but after 12 or so visits noticed a lot of the jjumps and humps seem to be having a bit of a kicker built into the front making them less smooth and natural feeling, bit like dirt jumps but smaller. Might be just me...."

Graham Wade, Chelmsford, Essex, 27 Sep 2016

"Hi I live in Cardiff with my wife. We're both keen bikers. I remember when BPW was a rumour and waited years for you to open. On the first day I went over the bars and shredded my forearm big time. It was an awesome day and we've both loved hitting the park regularly if not every week. We've both had coaching with Griff who has made us better riders as have the trails. They're confidence inspiring and have really helped us progress. World class bike park on the door step? Yes please. Thanks to the whole team at BPW Cheers Si"

Si Robins, Cardiff, 09 Sep 2016

"Thanks BPW for an amazing two days riding. This was my 12 year old son's first experience of a purpose built venue and he was buzzing the whole time. From booking to hiring bikes the whole set up puts you at ease, and nothing is too much for all the staff to make your experience a memorable one. The trails were perfect and as Aaron said, we'll be back very soon! Make the journey people you will love it."

Paul & Aaron Ross, Ipswich, Suffolk, 10 Aug 2016

The drivers are so funny and friendly, the trails are world class and the food is great. If you're thinking of going for the first time, just go, you'll love it! :)"

"These guys are the best. Perfect service for my bike, even when the manufacturer was messing them about, they did not allow me to suffer. At BikePark Wales the customer is still the most important person. 10 Stars for communicating as well all along the service the guys kept me perfectly informed and up to date. This kind of service deserves credit as it has become rare in the market. Well done guys very much appreciated. Freddy"

"Did the drop zone course with Griff on Sunday, had an amazing day! Been to the park a few times already but first time using the uplift and it was amazing. Griff was an awesome coach and if you would have told me I'd be hitting the drops I was by the end of the day I wouldn't have believed you! Really nice guy, I'll be booking another course soon. Also the new hot stepper trail is crazy fun!"

"Literally had the best weekend here, both yesterday and today. You guys have really got everything spot on. The trails are ace, the uplift is ace, the food is ace, your staff are ace and your workshop saved my bike so I could ride a second day. Thank you so much!!! We will be back again"

Niall Farrow, Hertfordshire, 24 Jan 2016

"I'm from Wales, I'm in my 40s but for some reason I only started mountain biking when I moved to the flat lands of Wiltshire. What does this mean? It means I have to travel back "home" to enjoy mountain biking properly. Starting with Cwmcarn and Afan, then venturing further afield to Coed Y Brenin and Brechfa, Wales has provided me with everything I could hope for in terms of trail centers - I thought I was happy. But then you went and built this place! And now I know what happy is! I love natural riding and BikePark Wales delivers natural trails and obstacles as well as trail centre staples like berms and tables. This place really has something for everyone."

Tim Norris, Wiltshire, 15 Jan 2016

"Amazing trails, very well maintained, good food en nice atmosphere! Uplift drivers were funny and friendly and a good help. We took a coaching session from Griff, money well spent! Good session, lot of helpfull tips and had a good time trying to stay in his wheel ;) Will come back definitly!"

Benjamin de Vaal, Utrecht, The Netherlands, 08 Nov 2015

"First visit to BPW and I have to say that it was absolutely outstanding! The facilities are immense, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the trails.....well they are awesome!! There really is something for everyone with just the right level of technicality to encourage progression. Started out on Terry's Belly but was carving down Rim Dinger by the end of the day with the worlds biggest smile on my face. Just brilliant!!!! "

Tim Kingham, Wiltshire , 23 Oct 2015

"First visit for over a year on 16th October; and Wow! why did I wait so long! Spent the day riding the Blue runs, and found Sixtapod and Melted Welly in excellent nick, if not better than they were a year ago. Rode Terrys Belly for the first time, and what an awesome run! Will definitely be back before the end of the year!"

Johan DeVlaeminck, Weston-super-Mare, 23 Oct 2015

"Had a morning carving corners coaching session with Griff just want to say what a good coach he is and it was 100% worth the money I would definitely recommend doing one! Also the trails in the afternoon were brilliant. Best day out on my bike ever. Would also recommend the twin trails B and B as they are really friendly and breakfast was amazing "

Joe underhill, Littlehampton, 06 Oct 2015

"What an awesome day. First time for me and my bro Steve at BikePark Wales. Trails were amazing, great mix of pine forest, open heathland and ancient woodland, great set up, great location, fantastic views and excellent centre and facilities. Already booked for another day. Top job. Uplift drivers-what a godsend!"

Zak Garrett, Bristol, 27 Sep 2015

"Awesome trails, uplift service is excellent. Only minor is there are not enough toilet facilities and no changing facilities."

Dave, Reading, 21 Sep 2015

"With 2 days of rain prior to our visit BPW was really the only option for length of decent and the variety of trails on offer. New trail Terry's Belly was great but what surprised me was how well the more natural reds were running even though it could have been a quagmire! Didn't use the uplift, rode to the top on the XC climb (4 times!) which is also great (you concentrate on the technicalities and not the burning legs). As per usual, super friendly staff, super fast yet good food and great trails. Keep, keeping it the tops chaps!"

Keith Tokeley, Reading, Berkshire, 16 Sep 2015

"Absolutely fantastic place, from visitors centre to trail, everything about the place is fantastic, worth travelling for and will definitely be returning as soon as possible,5 star! Thanks for a great day"

Stephen Phillips, Chesterfield, 04 Aug 2015

"Awesome time at BPW, got all the trails done with uplift apart from the blacks and pro's you deserve alot more than 5 starts keep up the good work!!! "

Arran Jones & Ornan Bailey, Gloucester, 03 Aug 2015

"Came to BikePark Wales expecting some decent trails-no way was I expecting such incredible routes. All the routes are expertly built. The blues flow beautifully with just the right amount of difficulty and the reds are awesome really keeping you on your toes. Unfortunately I don't have the skills to attempt the blacks, but maybe next time. All the staff are amazing and helpful, especially the uplift guys. Will defiantly be coming back as soon as possible. Thank you everyone for making it a special day."

Alan Smith, Nottingham, 10 Jul 2015

"You need 6 stars! It took me 6.5 hours to get there (only 5:15 to get back), and it was worth every second of the journey! The centre is excellent with a great shop and really helpful and knowledgeable staff. The cafe is brilliant with great food at good prices. The uplift service is worth every penny and the drivers are a right good laugh. Now on to the runs. FAN BLEEDIN' TASTIC!! I don't know who designed them but the ones we did (all the blues and most of the reds plus a couple of blacks) where awesome! Especially A470 which takes speed and balls, & Willy Waver which is bloody fast and flowing. Thanks, you should be proud of what you've done and what you're doing. See you again soon."

Lee Morris, Hexham, 08 Jul 2015

"Awesome! So much high speed fun and flow in abundance.....Absolutely loved it! Keep up the good work, I’ll be back with all the lads in August and I can’t wait  John."

John Skiffington, Warrington, 29 Jun 2015

"Thanks BikePark Wales just had a fantastic day, we are still grinning. Blue runs mostly on our hard tails then some reds great venue and good advice and banter with the black van men. BikePark Wales downhill all the way, happy days cheers."

Richie Waddington, Teignmouth Devon, 25 Jun 2015

"Just a quick note to say 'Thank you!'. Today was brilliant! Everytime I ride at the park, there has been a slight tweek or update to the trails. Your trail crew do an amazing job of keeping the runs in tip top shape. I was particulaly impressed with the additional rocks in the top half of Wibbly Wobbly, just before it dives into the woods. Thank you for developing a stunning centre. I love the mix of fast blues, fun reds and frantic black runs. The only problem is my face aches from all the grinnng..."

Mike Kisby, Cardiff, 29 May 2015

"My mate & I visited for a birthday treat last week and particularly loved Enter the dragon & Bonneyville & A470. All staff & mini bus drivers very accommodating & friendly to us as deaf riders. We are planning another trip in April & cant't wait. "

Richard Lee & Michael fisher, Leicester & Manchester , 18 Mar 2015

"Amazing as usual! It's pretty normal for the trails to be awesome at BPW. As usual the uplift was prompt and the lunchtime burgers were amazing! A470 is freakin amazing, laugh out loud fun! I needed some work doing to the bike at the end of the day, so I reluctantly dropped the bike in. 1.5 hours later I collected it and was amazed! The work was done with care, to the highest standards possible! I was truly amazed. I will be having all my bikes serviced there next time I visit!! BPW is the dogs danglies! "

Lewis tindall, Essex, 09 Mar 2015

"Great birthday at bike park wales. Awesome trails and food, I would definitely recommend it to any rider. "

Warner Stephens , Bristol, 10 Feb 2015

"Thank you for making a birthday something spectacular. We had 17 riders booked on the day and all went without a hitch, from the prebooked food to the uplift and ribbing from the drivers for the birthday boy (a young 41 yr old). We managed about 8 uplifts and thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings, we are already thinking of another visit next year for one of the other lads birthday. We wont be waiting that long to come back though, we are trying to pull diaries together for an uplift as soon as possible. Special thanks to Joe for making the effort to introduce himself to us and for coordinating the day."

Andrew Selwood, Reading, 02 Nov 2014

"Was passing and just popped in to see what the place was like. Luckily had bike with me and after a look around the cafe and shop, I decided to buy a day card. Despite it being wet, I managed 4 runs before having to leave at lunch time. Best day out on a bike I can remember. Stuck to the blues and reds which are a step up from most blue/red runs elsewhere and flow like mad; favourites being Sixtapod, Rim Dinger, A470 and Bonneyville. Will definitely be back; the only negative is the 4 hour journey time from home :("

Mark Hobday, Heywood, 17 Oct 2014

"Just had my second trip here and again loved it, trails are awesome and well kept couldn't ask for any more from the bpw crew! The uplift is good think the longest wait wasn't much over 5 mins and i got plenty of runs in the day. all the facilities are great, staff are friendly and happy to help and obviously with brilliant knowledge of the trails and general riding, so take advantage of it !! also i don't drive so its hard to get to alot of places without an epic pedal so its an ideal place as you can get off train and be at park within 10-15 mins over all bike park wales is a great place for bikers of all abilities!! even us crazy hardtailers "

Adam Gascoigne, Burnham-On-Sea, 08 Oct 2014

"Myself and a couple of mates decided to finally have a day shredding at BPW. All I can say is that you won't be disapointed with the variety and choice of trails. We didn't book an uplift but instead chose to buy a pre-paid 5 uplift ticket (which you have up to 12 months to use) and managed to use all 5 up before the end of the day. After an amazing days riding BPW is definitely going to be a once a month trip. Well done to all at BPW for building such a fantastic centre that makes me proud to be Welsh! P.S. The cafe serves some awesome food at very reasonable prices. "

Dan Phillips, Carmarthen, 01 Oct 2014

"Finally popped my Bike Park Wales cherry and boy was I glad that I did. Despite my reservations of mountain biking due to an extended break through injury this place seriously did not disappoint. Everything is first class, even the climb to the top is fairly enjoyable! I was shocked by that as I am really not built for climbing! I only managed some blue runs, mainly due to my lack of confidence and the Downhill Series closing off a lot of the trails for the racers. I had a grin stuck on my face for hours after completing my first run. I've never had so much fun on my bike. Ever! It definitely gave me the extra adrenaline to keep riding to the top despite my legs screaming at me to stop! I was so impressed with the place that I booked for a coaching session when I got home to try and get some confidence back on my bike. I will definitely become a regular here. I can't belive I waited so long to come here and sample this awesome place."

Gavin Diamond, Ogmore Vale, 16 Sep 2014

"Awesome two days on the uplift last week. No waiting around, even got ten runs in the second day by which point we were shattered. Awesome trails to ride but most importantly, it reminded me why i love riding my bike again which is priceless. Cheers"

Isaac Nolan, Newcastle, 10 Sep 2014

"Amazing place, the only problem is - once you have ridden here all other trail centres become boring. We now do a 4 hour round trip each weekend rather than ride the trails 10 minutes away. Keep up the good work. Ps. The Blue trails at BPW are better than the Black runs at most bike centres."

Matt, Wyre Forest, 10 Sep 2014

"I came here on 21st july, the weather was hot dry and sunny and being a week day there were 2 buses running.I got 13 runs in total, could have squeezed in maybe 2 more but that felt plenty for the day!....What can i say thats not already been said, simply brilliant!...from the building with great facilities ,cafe (great local produce at sensible prices) with sofas and log burner, big tvs with mtb racing on (all adds to the exciting atmostphere),shop, repair workshop, bike wash and even showers! to the booking system, the views outside are fantastic....oh and the trails too...well i say just book yourself up and get riding, discover for yourself...you wont be dissapointed!....ill be trying new a470 jumpline on 23rd september.....another review to follow...well done all the staff at bike park.........fantastic job..."

nik strowger, salisbury, 09 Sep 2014

"HAD AVERY GOOD TIME LAST WEEK GOT 4 RUNS IN ON THE UPLIFT WITHOUT BOOKING IN ADVANCE, BECAUSE IT WAS ON A MONDAY, AND HAD TO PUSH UP ONLY ONCE WHILE THE DRIVERS WERE HAVING LUNCH, NEVER HAD A DAY LIKE IT, AWESOME FUN. DONE THE BLUE BELLE ONCE AND THE BEST SIXTAPOD 4 TIMES, I LOVE THAT TRAIL. CAN'T WAIT TO COME AGAIN!!"

ARRAN, SWINDON, 02 Sep 2014

"BPW never disappoints! All the trails at all levels are great fun for everyone. It's great to see frequest flyers on full on downhill rigs whooping at the end of a BLUE run becuase they are so much fun. It's no mean feet to make trails that are that much fun. thanks guys, we'll be back again and again"

Loz Brown, Oxfordshire, 15 Aug 2014

"The most fun I`'ve had with my clothes on. A really slick outfit, well worth the journey, I`'ll be back."

rob, Biddulph, Staffs, 12 Aug 2014

"BPW TEAM have done a awesome jobs to get the project underway and up and running so quickly. i came up last month and rode with my mates who i haven't seen in ages. the trails are graded very well, the shop and cafe and visitors center is well thought out. everything is really relaxed and well organized at all times of the day. just go and ride there, you will want to go back lovewales.com "

Matt Gilly, Sussex, 29 Jul 2014

"5 Stars. This was my 3rd trip to BPW so I knew it was worth the journey. A last minute decision to book a Cornering course was great. We got fantastic coaching in the morning, with a high coaching ratio to students and great instant feedback. Having the use of the uplift for the afternoon made it even better."

Jacob Fitzgerald, Reading, 28 Jul 2014

"It was our first visit to bikepark wales, have to say we were very impressed. The uplift was great, we managed 10 runs...total blast... the coffee with a lemon and poppy seed muffin certainly hit the spot at lunch time, had a day at afan the day after then back over to the bikepark for more adrenaline filled fun.We will be back for two days of uplift later in the year. Onwards and upwards guys you have set the bar very high..."

ken and steve, stoke on trent, 14 Jul 2014

"Wow, wow, wow. What a great place. Took the climb up, first through the woods, got the blood pumping then whooshed down the blue. It's the closest I've come to riding a roller coaster on a bike.. Lunch time.... Great food freshly cooked......very nice. Think you need some kind of structure at the peak...... Somewhere to sit, burger bar, drink station maybe. Plus a BPW police up there checking the daily tags on all the bikes. "

Andy Cook, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, 10 Jul 2014

"Knew it would be a good day when i got my bike out of the boot and there was a pound coin on the floor where I put my bike down, picked it up so the day pass was only £4! I pedaled up all day on Beast of Burden on my tank heavy Kona Coiler - not sure on the time, probly about 30 minutes, it's a great trail - try it! Full of nice features you can pump in rhythm to get a speed boost. After the 4th climb I was pretty done in, but this place is so good it drove me to the top a 5th time. Had heard the trails were hardcore compared to other trail centres and man it's the truth! The blue runs are serious stuff - Sixtapod into Willy Waver and Locomotion was just awesome. The reds were great, drop offs, jumps all over, berm after berm after berm until you feel like you can't take any more! So many trail features it gives you almost too much choice between popping off jumps all over, soaking up the rollers and belting down the backsides, railing berms. The trails are seriously fast and designed with the sweetest rhythm - getting really heavy through berms and deep transitions then flying off the frontsides into the next section. I need to go back! "

James Moore, Cardiff, 26 Jun 2014

"Third visit today and the second time using the uplift. Very busy, but waited no longer than 10 minutes for the mini buses to pick us up, so we managed 9 runs during the visit. Trails were running fast, loose and dusty, making it an exhilarating, slightly scary, but fun day. Roll on the next visit.... :-)"

Mark Pulleyn, Swindon, 22 Jun 2014

"best bike park I been to so far. the trails are awesome right throw from blue to black. café has a great choice of food and drinks. I do advise the uplift. (witch is great value for money) but done have to worry if all booked up on day. as you can pay cash on day £4.00 each time. sounds expensive but its well worth it. I will be coming back again very soon.. found my new heaven lol..."

Karl Brierley, leeds, 17 Jun 2014

"Such a brilliant place. Helpful staff, great runs, fantastic uplift service. Even the sun shone last Friday! Well worth the 3hr drive from home. A number of beers in Merthyr in the evening eased the aches and bruises but without doubt we will be returning!"

Frank Le Sbirel, Kent, 10 Jun 2014

"First time to Bike Park Wales, What a first class outfit, Great Staff, Great Trails, Well worth the 4 1/2" drive! See you again soon."

Richard Dickinson, Halifax (West Yorkshire), 09 Jun 2014

"The Best Day Ever! The Trails, The Uplift, The Staff, Everything, BRILLIANT!! "

Steven, Dodd, 07 Jun 2014

"awesome tracks come again any day!!"

bob john, Gloucester, 05 Jun 2014

"very good, whoever reads this must go right now, the best I've ever been to i would rate it above 5 star but i can't , the only down side is nothing to do with the park and that is we like near Gloucester and it takes an hour and a bit to get there, but don't let that put you off, as MBUK says '' RIDE HERE RIGHT NOW'' AND DO EXACTLY THAT"

bob jones, Gloucester, 05 Jun 2014

"Mountain biker for 5 years, Sixapod and Willy Waver gave me the best riding I've ever had. BPW is awesome. The only fault its just too far from my home otherwise I'd be there every week!"

Daniel Clegg, Cheshire, 27 May 2014

"stunning! go blue- never thought id say it but the blues are astonishingly sweet - fast and twisty and immediate - soon as you hit them the fun hits you- today I came for 2 hrs - and its the best 2 I've ever spent on a hill - I'm coming back for a day and a lift pass- and I can't wait- just booked my birthday off work - I'm gonna spend my 43rd birthday throwing myself off a mountain- thank you for building this 25 minutes from my house -"

hugo, llantrisant, 12 May 2014

"Absolutely amazing day. Awesome trails and really really nice and helpful people running the place. I could not recommend it enough. "

Jonathan Rhoades, Christchurch, 31 Mar 2014

"Only been back on a bike in the last 6 months after nearly 20 years and all I can say is, BPW is just simply Awesome! Did manage to chuck myself down the mountain and break a finger on my second run but was back out and rocking within an hour. The uplift is a god send, especially for an unfit specimen as myself. Still managed 7 full runs on the day. All in all,an Awsome day on the 24th of March. The Staff make all the difference. From selling me knee pads in the morning, sorting me and my bike out after my incident on Locomotion and then a phone call a few days later just to check up on me. Can't praise them enough, service with a smile from start to finish. I will definitely be back. Don't think about it,just get yourself down there!"

Pete Forsyth, Miltom Keynes, 30 Mar 2014

"Best days riding in ages, all the trails ran amazingly and the sun was out for the first time in months! couldn't ask for more really."

Tom Krause, Bristol, 10 Mar 2014

"Rowan Sorrell is the new Warren Gatland. Cymru am byth!!"

Ade, West Sussex, 03 Mar 2014

"Second visit to BPW today, but first time using the uplift. I enjoy riding climbs, but today was an absolute riot. We got 6 runs in before lunch, followed by three more afterwards and we could've got a couple more in, if we weren't so bushed. Never had to wait for the minibus, as it was always there just before we got to the pickup point. Great service, good food in the cafe and friendly staff. Spot on, guys and gals :-)"

Mark Pulleyn, Swindon, 03 Mar 2014

"How dare you! Come around here with your bikes, cutting down trees and building roads and trails into our glorious landscape, encouraging thousands of people to come and pour thousands of pounds in to the local economy. Raising the profile of Merthyr Tydfil AND Wales as a whole as a tourist destination. Not to mention causing me to purchase a mountain bike, join a local mountain biking group, becoming fitter and healthier. Furthermore, attend your bike park and enjoy myself SO much that I purchased a season pass and also find myself the owner of a brand new Trek bicycle that was purchased from your competitively priced on site shop to further enjoy the trails that YOU decided would be a good idea! The nerve. (PS. Thank you!)"

Mr. Barrie Bach., Merthyr Tydfil, 01 Mar 2014

"Never normally a fan of riding in the rain but Bike Park Wales shouldn't put anyone off when things get wet. Awesome trails, great facilities, well sign posted, quality food and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Take a spare inner-tube or two, though: pinch-flats aplenty on a few of the runs! "

Will Tyson, Newbury, 23 Feb 2014

" Park virgin today- Beast of burden on the way up tough climb but not too technical but I was blowing out of my arse!! Started with melted wellie - too much fun any standard and you'll have fun on this trail, pedal back up the fire road and onto Wibbly Wobbly - cool trail, back up and onto enter the dragon linked to coal not dole tag on to insufficient funds and a pedal back up the road to the café for a hero burger........If Carlsberg made trail centres then........!!!! great day - treat yourself you deserve it. "

Dai-Hard, Little Mill, 15 Feb 2014

"Wow, first time to Bike Park Wales and we had a brilliant day riding the trails. The uplift service is brilliant and the all staff are super friendly. It's a shame that there's only one shower and no changing rooms!!!"

Dave Parker, Southsea, 12 Feb 2014

"First time to have ridden any trials here, absolutely fantastic! Really enjoyed it! Friendly, helpful staff, great location and some brilliant fun!"

Seb Peard, Taunton, 02 Feb 2014

"This place is simply brilliant, I love it! The trails are so well thought out and a buzz to ride! The structure of the park allows you to link up trails very easily and choose different ones each time and mix up the routes. The staff are super friendly, helpful and passionate about mountain biking. This is somewhere I feel safe to ride with people always being around and due to the carefully thought out layout of the park. There is plenty of opportunity to work on skills with so many different trails to choose from and fun to be had! A brilliant place!"

Angela, Cardiff, 02 Feb 2014

"Spent two days here in the rain (and a bit of sun!) and it was absolutely brilliant. Sixtapod and Willy Waver are awesomely fast, and Rim Dinger is a bone-shaking blast. Definitely will be coming back for more in summer - still need to tackle the black routes if I dare! :)"

William Hook, Stafford, 30 Jan 2014

"I hate Bike Parks Wales! It's so damn good its made my local trails really suck. Just going to have to visit again and again......."

Richard Treadwell, Hampshire, 28 Jan 2014

"Fantastic day out at BPW, trails steep, excellent quality (even after really dreadful weather) and amazing fun! I'll be visiting again frequently, plenty to keep me wanting to come back for more. Really friendly and welcoming towards women riders, how refreshing. Good café too. I'd definitely recommend playing here!"

Cate Gowans, Bristol, 28 Jan 2014

"The best bike park ever I love it "

Ricky, Abercanaid , 20 Jan 2014

"Fantastic place, trails hard enough but not too insane to put people off. Excellent café, uplift was great. All in all, a great day out, i'll be back soon."

Steve Weeks, Berks, 14 Jan 2014

"Wow!"

ooadeo, Cardiff, 06 Jan 2014

"My buddy and I had THE BEST time at BPW! We started on the blues but as soon as we hit the reds, we had a riot. Wibbly Wobbly, Bonneyville and Rim Dinger stood out for me as the best trails I've ever ridden (and I grew up in Cumbria and spent most of my 20's riding in Surrey's North Downs.) Unfortunately, we had so much fun that we found ourselves thinking that Afan, Cwmcarn, FoD and our local DH trails simply won't cut it anymore and we'll just have to frequent BPW more regularly than planned! Thanks again to the whole team at BPW for having created such an awesome facility and for the level (and speed) of service you showed to help get me back out on the trails after a rather fear-inducing brake failure! It goes without saying that we'll see you again soon!"

Gary, Bath, 31 Dec 2013

"Booked 5 hire bikes as a Christmas treat!! All were upgraded free of charge due to some bikes not being available. One being a brand new Trek session 88 straight from the box...no scratches.Ahhhh Suspension was set up on each bike to suit individual riders, and very carefully checked before we could ride them. Excellent service!! Trails were great, with something to suit all levels. A****** Only problem being, is my boys now want Trek session 88s. Can't wait to return!"

Brian Gunter, Warminster, 28 Dec 2013

"Had a great day with my son and four friends Trails are quality, very helpful staff who sorted two of us out with tyre issues Cool cafe Can't wait to come back in new year"

Matt Stephens, Bristol, 22 Dec 2013

"BPW what a place??? Staff are super helpful and the riding is flat out mental. Sixtapod is super fast n you can't help but whoop n grin all the way down follow on by willy waver which again is lightening quick with some nice berms but beware of rim dinger it certainly lives up to its name. Mental place I love it so much so I'm back in the morning."

Mark Hooper, Glynneath, 11 Dec 2013

"Had a really good day on Tuesday with Dan and Tigga. Warm welcome on a cold day, easy sign in and friendly banter. Coffee and cake to finish. Great job everyone involved!"

Alan Bond, Oxford, 05 Dec 2013

"Great combination of trails, which never get snarled up. Suits all levels, built by pros that really know their stuff. Been a few times, even in extreme wet - awesome fun, wish I lived nearer! My favorite UK biking experience. Very friendly/helpful staff. Can't wait to go again!!"

Jasper Ryman, Sandgate, 05 Dec 2013

"Spent a great Sunday at BPW couple weeks ago. The trails were spot on, super flowy and the overall set up well thought out. Even the short trail from the shop to the start of the uplift was super flowy and a great short blast to the adrenalin pumping. Well done team. Look forward to many trips up the A470 to run your trails with the Tribe. "

Justin The Sacred Apparel Tribe, Cardiff, 03 Dec 2013

"Visited BPW in October, not sure what to expect! However it excelled in every way, uplift was very efficient. Used my TREK SESSION 88 which proved monster fun, however an XC would be just as good. Will be returning without doubt and well done to everyone who must of bust their ball's building this pukka bike park."

Malcolm Barrows, Birmingham, 30 Nov 2013

"First visit today......three words to describe BPW.....The Muts Nutz Absolutely loved it, rode the climb 3 times, descending on Sixtapod, Melted Welly, Blue Belle, Norkel, Wibbly Wobbly and Rim Dinger, which were great. Next time, we're definitely booking the uplift. Can't wait to come back :-)"

Mark Pulleyn, Swindon, 22 Nov 2013

"Went for first time on Sunday 17th November, with my daughters boy friend,it was awesome, bit scarery for an old boy like myself, but would go again,I'll bring some mates next time.I think your too cheap,£10.pp including parking sounds very reasonable, not that i'm loaded but your offering a superb service, polite staff in Cafe, clean Toilets BRILLIANT. :-) "

Derek, East Sussex, 20 Nov 2013

"Great ride out yesterday, trails were in top shape and tremendous fun. All the staff were really friendly and passionate about 'Bike Park Wales'. We will be back soon. Thanks - Tim"

Tim Wells, Swinley, Berkshire, 19 Nov 2013

"Went up to Gethin Park today to walk to the dog as we have done in the past, but not for some time. What a transformation quite amazing, the setup is brilliant cafe repair shop facilities etc first class, we had a drink sitting taking all the fantastic development in. I am 75yrs old but i still ride my mountain bike but having watched the video i think i will stick to the green trail. Best wishes to all who have made this a great park we will be back soon if only for a meal. "

"I went to the park this Saturday and it was the best bike trails I've ever rode and shall be returning soon. For £5 you can't beat it! :)"

Jack Lewis, Aberdare, 21 Oct 2013

"Absolutely amazing day! Drove up from Cornwall and was completely blown away by everything about the place. We had some expert advice on a few mechanical breakdowns and repairs aswell as superb service in the cafe and the bike shop. The pump track was a great way to get warmed up in the morning before the big climb (will be uplifting next time for sure) which although long was fairly enjoyable for the more XC orientated members of our group. But then we arrived at the top and were greeted with a smorgasboard of trails. Every single trail we rode (which wasn't many simply due to time and the sheer choice of routes down the hill) we could've happily done again and again. Best trails any of us have ever ridden. We'll be back very soon!"

Daniel Smith, Cornwall, 20 Oct 2013

"have not been yet but looked at pics and they look really narly cant wait to try these trails :)"

oscar powell, stroud, 19 Oct 2013

"I haven't been on a bike for about 10 years an had a crack at DHM, an loved it. Next time I'm getting the bike lift, I'm so unfit but still made it to the top 3 times an when I got to the bottom my cheeks where hurting so much from smiling from ear 2 ear. Amazing day an can't wait to go back. ."

Dale , Reading, UK, 04 Oct 2013

"We had an excellent day at BPW! Trails were fab, staff friendly and really helpful, and the food was tasty. Will definitely be returning. "

Sally Jennings, Bristol, 03 Oct 2013

"Fantastic trail centre. Blue trails were lovely and smooth with plenty of fast sections and LOADS of berms. Red trails are definitely more of a handful but you can still attack them. On first impressions the place seems massive with so much to try (more than you can do in a day). If you plan to go on a saturday, get there early! car park was almost completely full by the time i got there (around 10.30)."

Ben, Pontypool, 01 Oct 2013

"Amazing set up! The trails are fantastic and so are all of the BPW staff! "

Alexandra Thpmas , Swansea , 29 Sep 2013

"This place is MTB nirvana! After one visit I had to buy a season ticket, and am now going at least twice a week. The climb is not too long or difficult compared to the awesome and long (for UK) descents. The trails have clearly had a lot of work put into them by people who know exactly what they are doing. The blue trails are fun for everyone from advanced (maybe not hardcore) to beginners on basic hardtails. The red trails are great, but personally I don't like the Rim dinger as if feels like money being sucked from my wallet as I hit every rock. If all of the black trails are as good as the the few bits I have attempted everyone will love them. The trails all have a very flowy nature to them, a lot of jumps that are rollable if you don't jump and a lot of grip (until they are soaking wet, when they can become greasy) The trail centre is smart and tidy. The bike shop looks well stocked. The car park gets busy on a saturday, but I've never struggled to find a spot. Entry is reasonable at £5 especially as parking is free, but if, like me, you plan on going more than 15 times a year the £75 season ticket is better value (plus you don't have to que up on busy days to get a wrist band) To conclude: -Awesome trails for everyone -Easy climb (or £30 uplift) -Free parking and reasonably priced entry "

Joe, Pontypridd, 29 Sep 2013

"I have found myself returning week after week. The trail variety is fantastic; from the natural feel of Vicious Valley to the flowing carved berms of Sixtapod and the muddy off-camber madness of Dai Hard! The Cafe is fantastic, the atmosphere is chilled and the facilities are top dollar. Thanks to everyone involved in the creation of this brilliant Mountain Bike Mecca!"

Chris Blight, Bridgend, 25 Sep 2013

"Bikers from Holland and Belgium tend to have their focus towards the Alp Countries like Germany, Austria, and Italy to have a ride in Bikeparks. Time to open their eyes because Bikepark Wales is one of the best park facilties I have ever visited. From Superb heavy (black) downhill trails to easy flowy blue lines, it's all there. There is definitely something for every kind of rider at every level. Thanks to Rowan, Liz and the crew of Bikepark Wales, we had a great day. You deserve a good review in our magazine and I hope my article can help bring more Dutch and Belgian bikers to Bikepark Wales!!"

ian jones, pontypool, 22 Sep 2013

"All you need to look at is the beaming smiles on peoples faces at the end of the runs by the cafe, this place is amazing, i was surprised how much fun i had on the fast flowing blue trails, quality! Proud to be Welsh and have this on my door step. :)"

Craig McTaggart, Swansea, 22 Sep 2013

"The best place I have ever ridden, FACT! Not only will it keep the most hardcore downhill riders and xc riders smiling from ear to ear, but every rider and every ability will have a totally amazing time. The fact that my two year old boy, riding a balance bike can have a brilliant time on the beginner trail is a true testament of how diverse this place really is. Can't wait for coaching and hoping the legend that is Rowan Sorrell will be doing some. Would love some children's courses too in the future. Love it, just love it!!"

"Good Place to go! ill deffo go here again! great job guys!"

John, Merthyr Tydfil, 06 Sep 2013

"Best trails I've ever ridden! Only thing I'd say is get an uplift as the climb is a killer and didn't get as many runs in as I would have liked. Guys at the bike shop were real friendly and gave us an extra 30 mins of hire as we arrived late. Their Trek Slash hire bike is also amazing! Already planning my second trip over and can't wait."

Victor Leach, London, 02 Sep 2013

""What a day" The best fun I've had on two wheels for a long time, the sheer variety of trails was awesome, great food, great staff and Rowan out on he trails too, will be back next month for sure. "

"My second visit to bikepark wales was even better than my first, I'm so impressed with the amount of work thats gone into this project, the trails, roads, car park, uplift, underpass and cafe are the best around. I spoke briefly to rowan to thank him and the whole crew that built this mtb gem. Put bikepark wales on your to do list and you will have the best time, by the way I still stand by my first comment "the best that is all!""

"The best! that is all"

ben williams, llanelli, 27 Aug 2013

"Awesome day, so many trails all different from the fast flowing blues to the full on drops and jumps of the blacks. Dai Hard has to be my favourite, will make it a regular trail trip. Never run into the back of slower riders and so many different trail combinations, its a good day. Food was excellent and the staff were friendly."
